An Integrative and Holistic Approach to Psychotherapy

I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist working with individuals and couples online locally, nationally and worldwide via video streaming. I have been in private practice for over 25 years covering a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, abuse both physical and emotional, difficulties navigating personal and professional relationships, disordered eating, identity, perimenopause and menopause. I began training to be a therapist because I was interested in people, our lives and what happens to us and how we deal with things that are difficult, uncomfortable, painful or overwhelming.

The more training I undertook the more interested I became and continued to pursue therapy personally and professionally, always wanting to work in private practice. I began my training with a CPCAB diploma in therapeutic counselling and then an advanced diploma. After this I trained at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London and with Professor Petruska Clarkson at Physis in her 5 Relationship model. Later, I gained a first class honours degree in psychotherapy and counselling at Southampton University, all the time working with clients, gaining experience and learning from them. I became accredited with the BACP in 2005.

If you’d like to find out if therapy with me could be beneficial and are interested in learning more, please call me on 07711-453345 and leave a message, WhatsApp me or email me at practice@jillgoodhew.co.uk to arrange a free 30 minute consultation to talk about how therapy might be helpful for you.
